TVMA Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall
5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Join us in the exhibit hall Friday evening to catch up with friends and colleagues, min- gle (at a safe distance) with exhibitors and win fabulous prizes by participating in our passport program. Watch four teams of veterinarians face each other in a quick game of Veterinary Jeopardy.This upbeat reception provides dedicated time to check out exhibitor’s products and services all while recharging your batteries with light snacks and adult beverages before you head to dinner with friends or to the many great nighttime activities available near and around the Marriott Waterway Hotel. The welcome reception is open to all fully registered attendees and their guests. Cost:This event is complimentary to all individuals registered for the annual conference.You must have a name badge to enter the hall.

Recent Graduate/Veterinary Student Mixer
7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
A Recent Graduate and Student Mixer (RGS Mixer) will be held on Friday, March 3, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at a venue to be determined.This event was launched at the 2021 Southwest Veterinary Symposium in San Antonio and has quickly grown in popularity. It provides networking and mentoring opportunities for current DVM students while also promoting interaction for recent graduate members from different DVM schools. Additionally, TVMA leadership attends to support participants and to explain how engagement with the association supports them throughout their career. RSVPs are highly encouraged as there is a maximum capacity. Eligible members will receive an email invitation closer to the event date.

SATURDAY, MARCH 4
TVMA Awards and Installation Banquet
6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Members and guests are invited to a deli- cious meal event to honor extraordinary veterinarians who serve the profession through their leadership and service to TVMA and to their communities. For those guests who would like to celebrate these award winners without purchasing a full banquet ticket, a viewing gallery area has been added for a small charge that will come with one drink ticket (refer to registration form). Heritage Award-winning clinics will be given special acknowledgment as well. In addition to awards presentations, our own Dr. LoriTeller, who currently serves as AVMA President, will install the incoming officers of theTVMA Executive Committee. Ticket prices are: Adult $90, Children Under 12Years of Age $40, Observer (includes one drink ticket) $25

“Hogwarts,Texas” President’s Celebration
7:30 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Headmaster Dr. Jodi Long from the Order of Aggies and Supreme Mugwump of TVMA summons you to join her for a magical celebration as we transform a hotel ballroom into our version of Hogwarts (Texas-style). Calling all wizards, muggles, dementors, owls and Harry Potter fans to step from the 9 3⁄4 train platform into the main dining hall of Hogwarts.You will be entertained by the talking Sorting Hat, invigorating live music as well as multiple fun activities such as Harry Potter trivia and much, much more! Wicked appetizers and adult beverages (spider elixir, boo beer, etc.) will be served along with great prize drawing giveaways for celebration participants. So let the adventure begin! All we ask is that you don’t feed the dragon. Attire: Outfit yourself as a student of the House of Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. Cost: One complimentary ticket per conference registrant AdditionalTickets: $40 per person

CONFERENCE EXPO
The TVMA Annual Conference & Expo
holds real value to you as an attendee as the scope of products and services has increased with great deals and show specials. One of the stand-out events at the conference will be a live Veterinary Jeopardy shoot-out in the exhibit hall on opening night. Great appetizers, complimentary beer and wine will be served as we kick-off 2023 conference with laughter and fun. Access to the exhibit hall for registered attendees and their guests is by conference name badge only. Refreshment breaks will be available in the exhibit area during designated times throughout the course of the conference.
