In this season, we'll select an article from the magazine to share with you as a reading each month; Starting with this article from Dr. John August, the Carl B. King Dean of the Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine, entitled “Veterinary Research in the Texas Panhandle”.

AVMA President Dr. Lori Teller, a clinical associate professor at the Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, discusses some of the precautions owners should take to prevent the transmission of monkeypox to their pets, the symptoms to look out for, and how to continue providing care for a sick pet as safely as possible.

TVMF will partner with FVMF in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. 

The on-scene crew included a veterinarian and several Texas A&M University CVM students, who helped sheriff's deputies and SPCA investigators tend to the neglected animals as they were transported into specialized trailers and taken to veterinary hospitals.
